The MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards/Na Trads returns to Inverness after 10 years to showcase the very best of Scottish Traditional Music.

Come and celebrate with us this St Andrew’s Day as Hands Up for Trad presents the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards, showcasing the very best of Scottish traditional music to folk fans from across the country.

Known as the Folk Oscars, the 2024 MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards will feature performances from some of Scotland’s leading traditional music artists, including; Julie Fowlis, Laura Wilkie & Ian Carr, An Dannsa Dub, Callum McIlroy – 2024 BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician winner, Ellie Beaton, the Highland Young Musicians & Arc fiddlers collaboration, all rounded off by Skipinnish, who will really get you up dancing as they celebrate their 25^th Anniversary in 2024.

So join the party this November, where you will be guaranteed a very warm welcome, whilst we shine the spotlight on the 2024 Scottish traditional music luminaries as part of this toe tapping event.
