Benedetti Foundation Highland Residency | STRINGS DAY

Join us for a full-day, inclusive string orchestra experience as part of the Benedetti Foundation Highland Residency.

Open to young string players from beginner level to approximately Grade 3, this exciting day will bring young musicians together to learn, rehearse and perform in a supportive, inspiring and fun environment. Participants will work on two specially selected pieces of music, including one piece for open strings only and a second piece with three levels, ensuring everyone can participate with confidence.

Led by expert Benedetti Foundation tutors with support from HLH Music Tuition staff, the day will focus on developing musicianship, building confidence and experiencing the joy of making music together. The event will conclude with an informal sharing performance for family at 3.00pm.

Event Information

• Arrival: From 10.00am for a 10.30am start
• Performance: 3.00pm
• Finish: Coaches depart Inverness Leisure at 3.30pm
• Transport: Return transport will be provided from Portree, Ullapool, Kingussie, Fort William and Thurso, with pick-up points en route. Timetables will be confirmed in advance.
• Please bring: A packed lunch, water, snacks, a music stand and a pencil.
